A 56-year-old Putnam County man was seriously injured in a vehicle collision in Milledgeville Friday morning, according to authorities.
According to a report by Milledgeville Police Department officer Tommy Puerto, Mark Fuller, of Eatonton, was driving southbound along North Columbia Street in his 1996 Toyota T-100, when his pickup was t-boned by a 2019 Nissan Kicks, driven by Elaine Goggans, of Milledgeville. Goggans told the officer she was traveling east on Hillside Drive and was yielding to the traffic on North Columbia Street, but she didn’t see Fuller’s Toyota approaching when she struck it, The impact of the collision reportedly caused Fuller’s pickup to go off the roadway and roll over before coming to a rest at the tree line.
Fuller was taken by ambulance to Atrium Health Navicent, The Medical Center Macon, where he reportedly was hospitalized for serious injuries.
