Glad to get back home but enjoyed the cool days and warm fires at night at Stork Lake, Canada. Caught a zillion walleyes, many huge Northern Pike and a 36 inch Musky. A record for me. My traveling and fishing buddy, Alan, came in a distant second but won the smallest fish caught prize. Budweiser was glad to see me and looked to have lost a couple of pounds with fewer snacks and scraps. First Lady says he has been sleeping by the door waiting for my return. Follows me every step now so I don’t disappear again. Glad to see the county has cut some of the roadside weeds. Some were 10 feet tall on Harmony and New Phoenix roads. County had to be cut some slack as they have had mowers down and are short handed. On balance they do a good job.
