Really good to see the Hiram Little statue in Downtown Eatonton at Veterans Park. A great local effort and a true tribute to airman Hiram Little, the Little family, and the brave Tuskegee Airmen of World War II.
This tribute is good for Eatonton, the local area, and even Georgia in general. Not sure what genius decided to wait until school opened to start paving and do sidewalk work at the entrance to Putnam County High School. Paving delays everywhere it seems, not smart. I see nothing has changed with the lack of Speed-O-Meters in Downtown Eatonton. Not sure the problem is DOT (Department of Transportation). Even the Real Buckhead in Morgan County has them, plus speed humps! Must not be a priority here.
Fishing better with cooler weather arriving; even Old Bulldawg is catching a few big catfish and his limit of crappie. Acorn crop is small, so Zeke predicts a mild winter.
