An Eatonton woman lost her life in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday night and two others were seriously injured.
Jessica Shawn Walton, 43, was killed when the Dodge Dakota pickup she was traveling in went off the road, crashed into a tree and turned over on its side, according to Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills.
Two other occupants of the Dodge -- Justin Jay Harvey, 35, and Joshya Lloyd Bruinekool, 44, both of Eatonton, were flown by medical helicopter from the scene to Atrium Health Navicent Medical Center in Macon.
The three were traveling north on Harmony Road around 10:30 p.m. when the crash happened. Sills said the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
