Dear Editor,
I served as a commissioner in Putnam County for eight years. I know the people and what it takes to be a good commissioner for our county. Honesty, integrity, a willingness and desire to listen and search for what’s true and right for all will render the best decisions.
Lenwood Pickens has all these characteristics.
Without any doubt in my mind, he is the best choice to be chairman of our commission for the next four years. I am thankful that a young man with his good qualities has stood up to serve. This county has been blessed. Let’s keep those blessings going. Please talk to your family and friends, asking them to vote for Lenwood Pickens and other good leaders for our county.
With early voting, no one has any excuse to not take time and vote.
