Michael Allison Clark

Michael Allison Clark, 75, of Eatonton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on October 20, 2025, surrounded by his beloved wife and children.

Mike was born on October 13, 1950, in Sparta, Georgia, to James “Buddy” and Rowena Clark. A 1969 graduate of Sparta High, he served his country in the United States Army after being drafted during the Vietnam War shortly after his 18th birthday. After being honorably discharged from the military, he worked for Eatonton Manufacturing and the local Department of Transportation.

A man of simple pleasures with a great sense of humor, Mike found joy in music, football, watching old westerns, impressing people with his trivia knowledge, and making people laugh. Still, his greatest love was always his family. He spent almost 38 years married to his best friend, LeAnn, and he never passed up an opportunity to brag about his children and grandchildren. They were his proudest accomplishments. His love for them knew no bounds, and he leaves behind a legacy of unwavering devotion.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, his brother James “Scoot” Clark, and his favorite Uncle “Red.”

His wife, LeAnn Harvey Clark, survives him; his four children: Robert (Beverly) Clark, Allison Clark, Jessi (Chris) Fleck, and Sydney (Mike) Jensen; his four grandchildren: Ray and Skylar Fleck, and Gloria and Matthew Jensen; his sister-in-law Sue Ellen Clark, nieces Candace Kennedy and Michelle Clark, as well as many friends and extended family members whose lives he touched with his kindness and love.
