Thomas “Cliff” Clifton Hardy, 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, surrounded by his family.
A celebration of his life was held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Harvest Baptist Church, 642 Old Phoenix Road, Eatonton, Georgia.
The family greeted friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the church. Burial was held at 2:30 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Chad Crawford officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harvest Baptist Church, 642 Old Phoenix Road, Eatonton, Georgia.
Cliff was born in Macon, Georgia, to the late Robert Gaston and Mary Elizabeth Hardison Hardy. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Cliff was a graduate of Georgia Tech with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and worked for Eastman Chemical Company for over thirty years as a Textile Chemist.
Following his retirement, he utilized his AA degree in Accounting to prepare tax returns for close family and friends. Cliff was a member of Harvest Baptist Church, where he served as treasurer and missions coordinator. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
He is survived by his wife, Carole Joy Hardy of Greensboro, daughter, Lisa (Cameron) Farrell of St. Augustine, FL, son, Brian (Beth) Hardy of Cumming, GA, stepdaughter, Donna Todd of Greensboro, GA, seven grandchildren, sister, Carlo (Lowell) Bell of Lizella, GA, several nieces and nephews.
