Mrs. Faye Hatfield Tillman, age 81, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in Eatonton.
She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 29, 1944, to the late James W. and Eulaya Hatfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy L. Tillman, in 1976, and seven siblings.
Mrs. Tillman was a member of Centennial Baptist Church in Rutledge, Georgia, where she found great joy in worshipping with the Ladies group. She enjoyed everything social, whether sharing good meals and recipes, shopping, dancing, singing gospel songs, or simply exchanging stories and laughs with friends and family. Mrs. Tillman was of petite stature, yet full of spice, energy, and spirit. She was a woman of profound faith and an inspiration to many.
Mrs. Tillman is survived by her beloved son, Brian Keith (Christine) Tillman of Eatonton, Georgia, grandchildren Ashley (Chris) Futch of Ellijay, Amber Lynn Tillman of Brunswick, Hannah(Clayton) Hostetter of Monroe, and Haley (Gregory) Cooper of Newport News, Virginia; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 10:00 a.m.. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Jordan Funeral Home, 264 Hillsboro Street, Monticello, Georgia 31064.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., following visitation, Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Chapel of Jordan Funeral Home. Interment was held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Rev. Terry Richardson officiated.
Serving as pallbearers were Brian Tillman, James Gallaway, Tim McMichael, David Hopper, and Mark Hatfield.
