Ronald Litz, 76 of Eatonton, Georgia, passed away on February 28, 2026. He joined his wife, Nancy, of 46 years.
They walk hand in hand together now and forever. He is survived by a son, Derrek Litz (wife Tina Stephens Litz) of Shady Dale, Georgia, and a daughter, Heather Litz Kelley (husband Timothy Kelley) of Eatonton, Georgia. As well as grandchildren, Allison Litz Zarate (husband Oscar Zarate), Megan Litz, Kara Kelley, Jake Kelley, great-granddaughter, Charlie Zarate, and great-grandson, Jay Zarate.
Mr. Litz was well known in the Lake Oconee area as the friendly greeter at ACE Hardware. He loved to talk and talk with anyone, and the ACE community adored him. He will be greatly missed. No funeral service will be held due to his wishes to be cremated.
