Benjamin K. Pinkerton

Benjamin K. (Bennie Buck) Pinkerton, 86, of Eatonton, passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family. 

He was born in Eatonton on August 21, 1939, to the late Benjamin Alexander Pinkerton and Ermine (Erma) Hill. Bennie was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Jordan Alexandria Pinkerton.

Bennie was a member of Bible Fellowship Church. He loved all people, enjoyed riding into town for a cup of coffee, and listened to music and watched the beauty of flowers grow.

Bennie lived his life to the fullest.

Bennie is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Moore Pinkerton; children, Alex (Stacey) Pinkerton, Marianne (Jody) Hawkins, Jan (Randy) Harrington; sister, Julia Murphy; grandchildren, Chase Pinkerton, Breck Pinkerton, Jordan Tiller, Haylee Price, and Rachel Hawkins; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 4 to 7 p.m..

 The service was on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Philadelphia Methodist Church following the service.
