Luceil Alliston Harrison of Eatonton, age 97, passed away on March 14, 2026.
Luceil, known to all as "Teen," was born to Robert LeRoy Alliston and Willie Mae Vining Alliston, grew up on her family’s farm outside of Buckhead, and graduated from Madison High School, Madison, Ga.
In 1953, she and Howard L. Harrison of Eatonton were joined in holy matrimony.
Both she and Howard were members of the First Baptist Church of Eatonton and were active in the Eastern Star for many years. She retired from Enterprise Aluminum Company.
Luceil was predeceased by her husband, Howard Harrison; mother Willie Mae Vining Alliston; father Robert LeRoy Alliston; sisters Mary Emma Alliston Welch (Calvin); Thelma Alliston Craft (Claude); Addie Claude Alliston; Huberta Alliston Crisp (Bobby); brother Ruben Reid Alliston; niece Claudia Elaine Craft Gallagher; and nephew Steven Lynn Alliston. Her brother, Robert E, survives her.
Alliston, sister-in-law Gwen I. Alliston, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews and great-great-great nieces and great-great-great nephews. Visitation was on Wednesday, March 18th, at 10 am at the First Baptist Church of Eatonton, and funeral services followed at 11 am.
Interment at Pine Grove Cemetery in Eatonton. In lieu of flowers, please donate in her memory to your favorite charity.
