Following an extensive three-month search that included more than 90 candidates, the Putnam County Hospital Authority Board has announced the selection of Thomas “Tog” Goss as the incoming chief executive officer of Putnam General Hospital (PGH).
Goss will officially assume his new role on June 1.
Goss currently serves as chief operating officer at Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin. He brings a strong clinical and operational background to the role, with experience spanning emergency medical services as an EMT, nursing as a registered nurse, and leadership as a nursing director.
Goss’ combination of hands-on clinical experience and executive leadership positions him well to guide PGH as it continues to enhance services and expand access to care for the community.
A PGH statement stressed the hospital remains committed to its mission of providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare, and this leadership transition reflects a continued focus on serving the needs of patients and the region.
