Mr. Richard O’Neal “Smitty” Smith, age 70, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
The family received friends Tuesday Evening, May 26, 2026, at Williams Funeral Home of Eatonton from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Smitty was born in Miami, FL, on August 31, 1955, to the late Arthur O’Neal and Iva Enid McRae Smith. He was generous in spirit. He was a loving and caring father, husband, and brother who loved hunting and deep-sea fishing.
Smitty is survived by his wife, Kathy Smith of Eatonton, children, Rick Smith of Eatonton, Lara Smith of Eatonton, and Jairon Barcenas-Mendez, granddaughter, Katherine Stinnett, and other loving family members.
