I wish to make it very clear that I am OPPOSED to a granite quarry in Putnam County. I was opposed to a quarry 15 years ago and still am opposed.
It is concerning to me to see signs popping up all over the county in support of a quarry. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and may use signs — assuming they have a proper permit and place the signs on private property. My personal concern is the color scheme of the “support the quarry” signs.
I have used the colors of blue and yellow for my political campaigns since 2004 and will continue to do so.
Lest there be any confusion when one sees the sign color, it is NOT my sign and I do NOT support a quarry in Putnam County.
