With the field of candidates for statewide office narrowed, voters will make their final selections for party nominees on June 16, with early voting concluding Friday.
Voters who selected a party ballot during the May 13 primary may only vote in that same party’s runoff on Tuesday unless they chose a nonpartisan ballot.
While there are no local races on the ballot, several high-profile statewide contests remain unresolved.
At the top of the Republican ballot, the closely watched and heavily advertised race for governor between Lt. Gov. Burt Jones and businessman Rick Jackson will finally be decided. The winner will advance to the November general election to face former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, who secured the Democratic nomination outright in May.
Republican U.S. Rep. Mike Collins and former football coach Derek Dooley are also competing in a runoff to determine who will challenge Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff in November.
