Gary was a lifelong resident of Putnam County. He was employed with Piedmont Water for the past nine and a half years. Before that, he worked for Russell Knowles and Moore LP Gas. Gary was dedicated to his work and was a hardworking man who never backed down from a challenge.

More than anything, Gary loved his family and making memories with them. He never missed an opportunity to spend time with the people he loved most.

Whether he was enjoying the outdoors, sharing stories and laughter, or simply spending time with his children and grandchildren, those moments meant the world to him. His kindness, sense of humor, generous heart, and unwavering love for his family will be remembered by everyone fortunate enough to have known him.

Gary had a heart of gold and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He believed in the value of hard work, treating people with kindness and putting his family above everything else. His quiet strength, gentle spirit and genuine compassion touched countless lives.

Whether he was offering advice, sharing a laugh or simply being there when someone needed him, Gary had a way of making those around him feel valued and loved. He built a legacy of love, family and kindness that he could be proud of.

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Aug. 23 at Talmo Farms. The family welcomes everyone to come together, share memories, and celebrate the life of a man who meant so much to so many.

Talmo Farms is located at 188 McMillen Road, Eatonton, GA 31024.

The family is planning to create a memorial garden where Gary’s grandchildren and loved ones can sit, reflect, and remember the special moments they shared with him. While flowers are not expected, the family would be grateful for floral donations that can be planted in the garden and become a lasting part of his memory.
