Robert Lee McElhannon, 81 of Eatonton passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Robert was born in Greensboro, GA on December 8, 1944 to the late Emory Thomas McElhannon and Clarhinda Young McElhannon. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, one brother and daughter Jackie Jaime, the love of his life his wife Barbara Hawkins McElhannon and his significant other Hillma Anderson.
Visitation was on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel at 1 pm followed by a graveside service at Eatonton Memorial Park at 2 pm. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, feeding deer and having cookouts and getting together with his family and friends. He was a collector of knives, loved playing on his ipad. Above all he enjoyed playing Santa in Eatonton. Robert is survived by his daughters Clarinda McNair (Jim), Luann Clark, sons Tommy McElhannon (Lisa), Robert Avery McElhannon (Connie) brother Nathan McElhannon, grandchildren Joshua, Jimmy, Jason, Jessica, Meghan, Susan, Crystal, Lomas, Kyle and Ayrieal, Caleb, Dillon & Dawson, numerous great grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren.
