Glad to see Hurricane Isaias came and went and just gave us some rain and little damage. Best kind of storm to have. George came over and we built a big fire and watched the Georgia/Alabama game. Glad the Dawgs pulled off a victory there. Hard to do by any team. George thinks we will be playing them again this year. The Putnam County War Eagles won big 42-22, but Gatewood Gators lost 30-17. Both had Homecoming in the rain. Real bummer. I tried to catch a few fish off the dock, but think the uncertain weather knocked off any serious fishing. Stray cat Kit Kat is still hanging around but FatCat not happy with competition for scraps and territory. HotDog could care less as they don’t mess with him. Looked around my garden plot to see if a winter garden makes sense. The First Lady says she will depend on Ingles and Publix. No faith. See they drug out the vertical tree eater to trim and eat up bushes and trees on roadsides. That and the spraying make for a mess.
