Mrs. Josephine “Jody” Roberts, age 91, passed away Friday, October 9, 2026. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m.
Sunday, November 1, 2026 at Marshall Memorial Baptist Church.
Mrs. Jody was born on August 7, 1935 in Milan, GA to the late Ishmael Worth and Joyce Estelle Taylor Bohannon.
She was a graduate of Georgia College and State University. She was a certified registered nurse who worked at Central State Hospital, Baldwin County Hospital, Putnam County hospital and with home healthcare for many years.
Mrs. Jody was a loving and doting Grandmother.
She was a devoted member of Marshal Memorial Baptist Church where she was involved with the women’s ministry and taught Sunday school for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ross W. Roberts. Mrs. Jody is survived by her sons Warren Roberts (and wife Donita) and Jeff Roberts (and wife Darlene), daughters Sheila Roberts Tipton (and husband Guy) and Ramona Fullmore (and husband Rodney), as well as 2 brothers, 3 sisters, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 greatgreat grandchildren.
