St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital Upscale Thrift Store invites the community to its First-anniversary Open House on Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 4980-B Carey Station Road in Greensboro.
The event is free and will include giveaways and finger foods, as well as fun shopping for everything from art and antiques to clothing, furniture, household items and tools. Shoppers never know what great things they may find as the store receives high-quality, gently used donations every day it’s open.
The store is stocked and operated by a team of dedicated volunteers, and all proceeds over expenses benefit the healing mission of St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital.
“We have a wonderful core group of volunteers who are so excited to reach this milestone and who love to see all the excitement in the community,” said Angie Patterson, St. Mary’s Retail Operations Manager. “Whether you are donating, shopping or volunteering, you are helping our healing ministry continue to provide high-level care with higher-level caring to everyone who needs us.”
St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital Upscale Thrift Store is open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Donations of lightly used goods and furniture are accepted whenever the store is open.
