Festival Hall, Greensboro’s premier arts venue and cultural center is excited to have the talented sister group, EverGreene to play before The Jazz Legacy Project: John Coltrane, The Beauty of the Struggle, Thursday, June 16, 2022.
Local sister folk-rock country band, EverGreene -Helen, Elisa and Lily Garcia-Carreras -is excited to return to open for The Jazz Legacy Project.
"It is so exciting to be officially public as a band since we have been writing and making music together since we were kids," says middle sister Elisa. "Opening for the Jazz Legacy project is an awesome opportunity because it allows us to share our music and enjoy amazing jazz afterwards. We had so much fun last time; we're super excited and honored to be opening for such a phenomenal group of musicians again."
EverGreene delighted the audience for The Jazz Legacy Project: Cole Porter, Jazz in Technicolor back in March. These young musicians play multiple instruments, write their own songs and sing like angels. Festival Hall Director, Nicole Chillemi is thrilled to have these lovely sisters back for the second of the three-part jazz series.
“It is so wonderful seeing the next generation and how talented they are,” states Festival Hall director, Nicole Chillemi, “It is so important to foster our young artists. Be sure to get to the show early enough to hear EverGreene.”
EverGreene will perform from 6:45 to 7:15 prior to the concert at 7:30. You can follow EverGreene through their Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and TikTok @evergreeneofficial.
