What: Dual Vision: Art through Di_erent Eyes - Opening Reception When: 5-8:30 p.m. Where: Barrel 118 - 118 N. Jefferson Ave., Eatonton More Info: All are invited for a reception to mark the opening of the 6th Annual Dual Vision: Art Through Different Eyes Exhibition and Sale. The event is free and open to the public. Dual Vision is a collaboration between The Artisans Village Guild and Associated Photographers of Lake Oconee (APLO). Each guild member picks one - two photos to transform into any medium of art of their choosing. This results in a beautiful side-by-side art show. The exhibit will be on display for the first time at Barrel 118 for the opening reception and a few special events before moving to The Artisans Village Art Gallery. Learn the basics of basket making by creating an 8” sampler basket using flat ash reed in the morning class. In the afternoon, they’re offering an 8-Point Star class. Strong composition is fundamental for creating a successful work of art, music, or literature and affects how viewers interact with what we create. Please join us along with our guest speaker and artist, Lauren Adams, for an insightful talk about composition, design principles, and the important role they play in any creative endeavor. More info: Homecoming is about more than commemorating the anniversary of the church, it also serves to honor those before us that kept this wonderful church alive. What: Full Moon Float When: 8 p.m. Where: Oconee Outfitters More info: Mark your calendars for Oconee Outfitter’s popular nighttime kayak event! The float will depart the Oconee River Greenway, paddling to the Central State boat ramp. Kayak rentals are available for $35/single, or $60/tandem. What: Kids Fishing Event When: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Where: Lockerly Arboretum More info: Grab the kids to go fishing! Over 1,000 catfish have been stocked in Lockerly’s pond. Some are BIG & are waiting for you to catch them! For children ages 16 and under. 1 adult per 2 children. Lockerly provides hotdogs for bait, but you can bring worms if you prefer. Bring your own rods, reels, tackle, stringer or bucket. Take home up to 5 fish per child!

What: Noah Hicks brings Modern Country to Milledgeville When: 10 p.m. Where: Ned Kelly’s Down Under More info: Carrollton, Georgia native Noah Hicks is bringing his modern country sound to downtown Milledgeville. With multiple collaborations with Nashville songwriters and other performers like Jon Langston, Ashley Cooke, and Rhett Akins, Hicks has spent time refining his sound. “I Can Tell You’re Small Town” and “Drinkin in a College Town” are sure to be favorites with the local crowd.
