Zeke had a great time traveling with Sammy to Columbia, South Carolina, to see the Georgia Dawgs destroy the lame Carolina Gamecocks 48-7. Columbia is not my favorite place as Georgia has often had problems there with the heat [stadium is in a swamp by the river] and the rowdy fans. But what do you expect from a team that has a chicken as a mascot? Also good to see Putnam County stomp the Monticello Hurricanes in a blowout 42-13. Putnam’s Tamarion Peters got three touchdowns. The Purple Hurricanes were always a problem back in my days at PCHS. Budweiser and Hot Dog enjoying all the football fun and extra treats that hit the floor. Fall is in the air – welcome after the long, hot summer.
