Downtown Greensboro hosts its annual Holiday Open House Nov. 11-12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. The merchants in downtown Greensboro will flip the switch for the holiday season, showcasing beautiful and festive decorations and seasonal merchandise, perfect for all gift-giving needs.
As part of the festivities, Lake & Local (104 S.
Main Street) will host a series of eight 15-minute Holiday Mini Photo Sessions on Saturday, Nov. 12, with Alexis Ann Photography in the Lake & Local garden.
Registration is required and can be done online at lakeandlocal.com or in the shop prior to the day of the event.
Mini sessions during the Holiday Open House allow you to start your Christmas shopping and get family photos done the same day.
Each mini session is $125 and will include at least 10 edited high-resolution photos, which will be perfect for holiday cards.
Plan to visit all the downtown Greensboro merchants as they kick off the holiday season.
Each shop will be decked out in holiday beauty, and many merchants will be offering special deals and treats for this fun and festive weekend event.
Lake & Local, Genuine Georgia, J. H.
McCommons, Broad Street and Main, The Pink Stitch, Maggie Lane, Greensboro Antique Mall, and more will be ready to provide just what you need to make the holiday season extra special. Or just enjoy lunch at local restaurants like Ripe Thing, Yesterday Cafe, or Family Ties Barbecue.
