The Georgia PGA Senior Division’s Tour Championship, sponsored by Jennifer Vaughan with Ansley Real Estate Christie’s International, took place Oct. 10-11, at Reynolds Lake in Greensboro. The two-day tournament was played on the Oconee Course and Great Waters.
The Senior Division was won by last year’s PGA Player of the Year Sonny Skinner, while Phil Pavoni took the Super Senior title.
Reynolds Lake Oconee is a private waterfront community located 70 miles east of Atlanta and one of the country’s premier lake-and-golf communities with six courses, 12,000 acres of property and resort style amenities.
Jennifer and Larry Vaughan hosted the golfers at their lakeside home for “Brisket & Brews” after play on the first day. Earlier in the day, Larry had finished an impressive runner-up in the Super Senior division.
