Riezl and Ted Baker have stepped up as advocate sponsors of the 2023 Heart and Soul Gala, an event benefitting St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital, scheduled for Feb. 11, 2023, at the Ritz Carlton, Reynolds Lake Oconee.

The couple has been involved with the gala since its inception, with Riezl chairing the past three galas and remaining involved as co-chair for the 2023 event.
Plus, Ted has served as volunteer auctioneer for every event and the Bakers also will host Friday evening’s VIP sponsor reception at their Lake Oconee home.
“I am truly humbled by the support we have received for the gala, and I am very proud of our hardworking committee,” Riezl stated. “It is exciting to see how the event has evolved, with this year's event selling out days after tickets were released for sale.'
Riezl has been a supporter and leader of St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation from the very beginning. She joined the foundation board in 2012, served as chair from 20182019, and remains active as a board member. She and Ted also are society members of St. Mary's Good Samaritan Foundation.

Ted and Riezl are successful realtors with more than 40 years combined experience.
They founded their real estate group, Luxury Lake Oconee, with a mission to deliver superior value and unparalleled service to every price point available at Lake Oconee. The group is now the leading luxury real estate boutique brokerage in the area with more than $145 million in sales volume to date (January-November 2022).

The couple relocated to Lake Oconee in 1997 and have been part of many positive changes in the area. They have two children: Stuart, a sophomore at Yale University, and Remi, a 12th grader at Interlochen Arts Academy.
