Dear Editor: I love the new Messenger series: “Putnam A to Z.” And I love that it kicks off this trip through the alphabet with Animal Services.
This is well-deserved (recognition) by them and the animals, they care for.
I hope people take note of their needs and donate any towels, rugs or blankets that look too shabby even for a thrift store. (Dogs and cats don’t care what they look like, and the workers have always welcomed mine.) And, if people can find it in their heart and budget, dropping off a little pet food every now and then would be a most Altruistic, Admirable, and Appreciated Act. Amen.
