Mr. John Leonard Patient, age 82, passed away Friday, February 3, 2023. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the First Baptist Church of Eatonton with Pastor Bill Kitchen officiating. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
Mr. Patient was born on December 3, 1940, to the late Leonard Albert Patient and the late Lena Irene Spain Osborne. He loved fishing and hunting.
He also enjoyed painting and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his wife Judy Patient, his parents Lena and Henry Osborne and Leonard and Dorothy Patient, two nephews Jamie Patient and Chad Ward, and half brother Mark Patient.
Mr. Patient is survived by his four children Jody (and wife Lisa) Patient, Erick Patient, John Robert Patient, and Tanya (and husband Matthew) Myers, brother Larry (and wife Wanda) Patient, sister Beverly (and husband John) Fox, half-sister Marsha (and husband Denny) Ward, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
