Joyce Alford Anderson, 67 of Eatonton, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023. She was born and raised in Eatonton to the late Lawrence and Margie H. Alford.
She graduated high school in 1974 in Macon, Ga. She worked for many years in the meat market as a butcher. She enjoyed seeing customers chat or share a smile with her.
Joyce loved spending time with her family whether it was Sunday gatherings or special occasions, she always made it fun. She was preceded in death by her husband the love of her life, (Bob) Robert E.
Anderson Sr. as well as her son Robert E. Anderson, Jr. brothers Johnnie & Jimmy Alford and sister Betty Sue Greenway.
Joyce is survived by her sons Mitchell Mullis, Richard (Robin) Anderson, John (Alisa) Anderson, and David Anderson, and sister JoAnne Herring. She also leaves behind her precious grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved all so very much.
