Dear editor: EPWSA just announced an 8.7% water rate increase with inadequate justification. EPWSA recently held nearly $8,000,000 in cash that was accumulated by charging more than the actual cost for many years. EPWSA is supposed to be a nonprofit!
That’s probably more cash on hand than the Putnam County government or Eatonton City government has!
