Mr. Alexander Jackson “Jack” Rossee, age 95, of Eatonton, GA passed away on May 15, 2023. He was born on June 29, 1927, to the late Margaret “Mina” Sulie Maddox and Joseph “Jobie” Lewis Rossee.
After graduating from high school, he joined his father in the dairy farming business. He was called to service in The United States Army in 1952 and served until his honorable discharge in 1953.
He returned home to continue with the dairy farming business with his father. He served on the Board of Directors at Tri-County EMC in Gray for many years. He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a Shriner, and a member of the Putnam County Farm Bureau where he served on the Board of Directors. He was a faithful member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. He enjoyed riding his lawn mower and cutting grass. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Mr. Rossee is survived by his wife Carolyn Rossee, his children Joe (and wife Paula) Rossee and Lyn (and husband Daniel) Brown, grandchildren Danielle (and husband Chris) Hewette, Alex (and wife Brooke) Brown, Kaitlyn (and husband Chase) Chitwood, Miranda Rossee (and fiancé Vincent Capobiano) and Adam Rossee, great-grandchildren Wyatt Hewette and Lyndie Hewette.
A visitation was held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, and service on May 18, 2023, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
