Ms. Marjorie Bell Clements of Eatonton, Georgia was born on August 26, 1947, in Putnam County Georgia to the late Arthur Clements and Edith Thelma Williams Clements. Marjorie was the eldest of two children born to this union.
Marjorie fell asleep in death at her home in Eatonton, Georgia on Thursday, October 19, 2023.
Marjorie attended Butler Baker School in Eatonton, Georgia, and was a member of the graduating class of 1965. After graduating high school, Marjorie matriculated at Fort Valley State University; she graduated in 1969. She returned to Eatonton after completing college where she began working as Assistant Librarian at the Putnam County Middle School.
She would remain in that position until she retired in 2007.
Marjorie was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on July 13, 1969, while attending a convention in Atlanta, Georgia. Marjorie was a very serious student of the Bible and became a Regular Pioneer Minister in 1981 and remained a zealous Pioneer Minister until her death. She was well known in the community as a Bible teacher and proudly represented her God Jehovah as a loyal and happy servant.
She enjoyed and loved sharing the message of Bible Truths with her family and neighbors.
She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, William Mc Arthur Clements (Cora Ann); niece, Misharri Andreya Clements; other family members, and loving friends as well as other friends in the community who knew her.
A Service of Love and Remembrance will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 128 Imperial Mill Road, Eatonton, Georgia.
