Lack of respect in Eatonton?
Dear Editor,
The longer I live here makes me wonder how long it will take the local county and city government to learn the respect that needs to be given to our fallen heroes.
Putnam County did not lower the flags for the fall of Georgia soldiers until yesterday (Feb. 1) afternoon, and even though I reminded the city of Eatonton, nothing has been done as of this morning (Feb. 2).
