Shell station shooter claims self defense
Jurors deliberated a little more than one hour before returning a guilty verdict on the man who fatally shot another man at the Shell Food Mart in Eatonton last summer.
Lajuan Peire Evans, 25, of Covington, was found guilty of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
