I attended the Putnam County High School performance of “In the Heights” (last week) with my friend, Adria. As always, I was extremely impressed with the talent.
But Adria, who had seen this play on Broadway, found it much more enjoyable than the professional performance. She said it was so engaging seeing the cast right there at the same level with us and it felt so intimate knowing we were sitting among people in our own community. And besides that, we didn’t have to pay for valet parking.
One more live example of connecting the community through the arts!
