The Heart & Soul Gala to support St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital will return on Feb. 15, 2025, to celebrate St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital’s 10th anniversary, commemorating a decade of community service and quality healthcare.
Hosted at the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee, the Heart & Soul Gala promises an evening of elegance and philanthropy. Attendees can contribute to the continued expansion of hospital services vital to the greater Greene County region, especially during challenging times.
Over the past decade, St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital has achieved several significant milestones and spearheaded transformative healthcare advancements. The hospital has become a cornerstone of local health and wellness by continuously adapting to meet the community's evolving needs.
“The community support for our gala makes it possible for our hospital to offer services rarely found in communities our size,” Dr. Art Torsiglieri, chair of the St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Foundation Board, said. “Continuous fundraising is essential to keep up with medical advances, ensuring our hospital can continue to deliver quality care for many years to come.”
The Heart & Soul Gala committee, comprised of dedicated community members, has begun preparations to make the event a memorable night.
“We are excited to start planning this area’s most anticipated black-tie event. It will be a grand celebration, with surprises along the way,' Heart & Soul Committee Chair Riezl Baker said.
Baker has been involved since the inaugural gala in 2013 and said the proceeds raised will enhance the hospital's mission to elevate the standard of care provided to the community.
“This year's gala is not just a celebration of past achievements but also a critical step toward future advancements,” she added.
