Jack Collis, 78, of Eatonton, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
He was born in Decatur, GA, on March 25, 1946, to the late Dennis Alvin Collis and Pauline Franklin Collis. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Lucious (Tink), Taylor Collis, and Dennis Collis, sister Wynelle Hanson (Russell), and Ruffy.
Jack was a lifelong member of Lone Oak Baptist Church, he enjoyed traveling and cars. Jack loved his family very much and valued the time spent with them.
The visitation was scheduled for Friday, July 26, 2024, at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. It was also scheduled for Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Lone Oak Baptist Church at 10 a.m.; the service followed at 11 a.m. Burial was at the church cemetery following the service.
Jack is survived by his sons Keith Collis (Nikki), Tim Collis (Jennifer), sister Gail Ashworth (Jerry), sister-in-law Martha Collis, grandchildren Brittany Collis, Brandy Larimore, Seth Collis (Savanna), Preston Collis (Elise), Gracie Collis, greatgrandchildren Shaelee Collis, Jake Collis, Grayson Larimore, Bryce Larimore, Truett Collis, Rainey Collis.
Vining Ivy Hill Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
