Wanda Yvonne Davis, age 60, of Eatonton, Georgia, passed away on Monday, Nov. 4, 2024.
Born on July 28, 1964, in Macon, Georgia, Yvonne was known for her warm spirit, unwavering devotion to her family, and genuine kindness. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who prioritized others above herself. Yvonne’s caring and thoughtful nature made her everyone’s best friend, and all who knew her will cherish her legacy of love and dedication.
Yvonne was a devoted member of Lake Country Baptist Church and diligently served her community. She was employed with Walmart in Eatonton and previously worked with the Putnam County Board of Education. Her hard work and dedication left a lasting impact on her colleagues and the community.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Greg Davis; her children, Stephen Lane, Maxine (Chris) Hutchins, Tiffany Tipton, Nicholas Davis, and Tabitha Davis; her cherished grandchildren, Tristyn Lane, Tyler Mincey, Jessie Mincey, Colton Buchanan, and Chevy Tipton; her brother, Bobby Lane; sister, Pam Elliott; her beloved pet, Kobe; and numerous aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Calvin and Betty Lane, and nephew, Jason Dunbar.
Family and friends were invited to a visitation at Gray Memorial Chapel and Crematory, located at 4378 Gray Highway, Gray, Georgia 31032, on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life service occurred Friday, November 8, 2024, at Lake Country Baptist Church, 1259 Crooked Creek Road, Eatonton, Georgia 31024, beginning at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Pete Mattix officiating.
The interment took place at Gordon Family Cemetery.
