Preston Joiner, 100, passed away at his residence on April 3, 2025.
He was born on March 9, 1925, in Pearson, GA, to the late Charlie Joiner and Mary Ellen Waldron Joiner.
Preston was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary Frances Courson Joiner.
Preston served in the Army Ground Air Corps during World War II. He worked for Meadow Gold Ice Cream Company for over 40 years.
He enjoyed fishing, but most of all loved going to church and spending time with his family.
He was a lifelong member of Lone Oak Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons Bruce Joiner & wife Cindy, Bobby Joiner & wife Judy, grandchildren Jay (Lisa) Joiner, Kimberly (Chad) Glover, Charlie (Allison) Joiner, Ashley Joiner, Patrick (Rachel) Joiner, Logan (Tara) Joiner, great grandchildren Preston & Ada Glover, Landon Weber, Liliana Joiner, and Deacon Joiner.

Visitation was on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 6 to 8 pm. Service was at Lone Oak Baptist Church on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 2 pm. Burial was in the Church Cemetery following the service.
Vining Ivy Hill Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
