Mr. Bennie Lee Black, age 83, passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023. Memorial services were held at 4:00 PM Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023, in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Eatonton.
The family received friends from 3:00 PM until the service time.
Mr. Black’s number one reason for living was to serve the Lord. He loved and adored his wife Peggy Black. He had two children Rick and Stacey. He lost his son Rick eight years ago. The light of his eye was his daughter Stacey Williams. He spent most of his time hunting with his son-in-law Mark Williams. His pastor Eddie Shumate was his best friend. He was blessed to be close to his sisters and brother. Mr. Black didn’t meet a stranger. He loved everyone he met. He finished strong!
