Mrs. Bertha Darsey Tatum, 80, of Eatonton, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024, at her home.
Mrs. Tatum was born in Cochran, GA, on July 24, 1944, in Cochran, GA, to the late M.C. Dan Darsey and the late Pearl Norton Darsey. She loved sewing, gardening, and reading books. She was preceded in death by her sister Diane Evans, brothers Daniel Darsey and Thomas Darsey, and sister-in-law Gail Walker. She was a member of the Bible Fellowship Church.
Mrs. Tatum is survived by her husband, Thomas “Tommy” Tatum of Eatonton; sons Timothy Tatum of Dawsonville, Ashley Norsworthy of Eatonton, and Jason Norsworthy of Eatonton; daughters Amanda McHenry ( and husband Alex) of Cleveland, GA, and Tammy Tatum of Dawsonville; sisters-in-law Susan Grizzle of Ellijay and Wanda Ray of Dawsonville; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Services were held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 21, 2024, in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Eatonton. The family received friends from 1:00 PM until the service time.
