Brenda Cox 74 passed away on July 28, 2023. She was born on December 12, 1948 to the late John Wesley and Dora Brock, she was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arthur Wynn Cox, mother- in-law Frankie A. Edwards, nephew Ethen Richardson. Brenda enjoyed spending time at the beach and visiting the mountains. Most of all she enjoyed being around her loving family.
The visitation was on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Marshall Memorial Church at 10 am followed by a service at 11 am, interment was at Eatonton Memorial Park after the service.
Brenda is survived by her daughter Christy Knight Burgess (Scott), grandsons Brandon Knight (Tiffany), Dain Burgess, Jake Burgess, great grandchild Declan Knight, siblings Betty Corbitt of Eatonton, Syble Richardson (Homer) of Charleston SC, Johnny Brock (Shirley) of Eatonton, Sherry Brock of Eatonton, and several nieces and nephews who knew her as ‘Aunt Bunny’.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the Ethen Richardson Foundation in her memory.
Vining Ivy Hill Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
