Mr. David Eugene Martin, age 78, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
Mr. Martin was born on October 1, 1946, to the late Curtis Martin and the late Mary Louise Hearn Martin. He worked for GA Power at Plant Harley Branch for 35 years. He loved his friends and played golf, Auburn football, and Atlanta Braves baseball.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Martin, and a sister, Beverly Louise Martin.
Mr. Martin is survived by his daughters Shelly Martin-Hester of Anniston, Al, and Beverly Perkins of Eatonton, as well as his grandchildren Kaleb Hester of Phoenix City, Al, Jacob Perkins of Canton, OH, and Aaron Michail Martin of Eatonton.
Services were held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Victory Baptist Church in Milledgeville. The family received friends one hour before the service time.
