Mrs. Gaye King Lankford, age 90, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026, in South Carolina.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Baldwin Memorial Gardens in Milledgeville.
Mrs. Lankford was born January 3, 1936, in Augusta, Georgia, to the late Guy Pierce King and Evelyn Stalling King. She worked as an X-ray technician for Putnam General Hospital and was a member of First Baptist Church of Eatonton. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Lankford, and her sister, Betty Salazar.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann (Russell) Herron of South Carolina, along with several nieces and nephews.
Instead of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan’s Purse or First Baptist Church of Eatonton.
