Hughey Purvis, 63, of Eatonton, GA, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family following an extended illness.
Mr. Purvis was born on May 17, 1961, in Warner Robins, GA, to the late W. Purvis and Leomie Purvis. He had grown up in Warner Robins before moving to Eatonton, GA, several years ago. He was a loving husband, father, and brother, showing his love in many ways.
Mr. Purvis is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Anita Pittman Purvis, formally of Fargo, GA, now living in Eatonton, GA; two sons: Drew Purvis and Justin Bryant; one daughter: Chris; two sisters: Peggy Tucker (Howard) and Brenda Griffis; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Memorialization was by cremation.
Roundtree Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
