Jubral Ward Holloway, III (Ward)

Jubral Ward Holloway, III (Ward), 53, of Eatonton, Georgia passed away at his home on July 31, 2023.

Ward was born on November 20, 1969, to Jubral and Betty Holloway in Milledgeville, Ga. He grew up in Eatonton, attended Gatewood School, and later attended the University of Georgia where he majored in Fine Arts.

He enjoyed sculpting, sketching, painting, writing music, singing, playing the guitar, “mechanical gadgetry”, and cooking. He was employed at The Retreat of Atlanta and had a second “work family” there whom he loved. He often said that his job must have been tailor-made for him. Every day was different, whether it was making picnic tables, building fire pits, or transporting patients, and he was so thankful to be a part of their mission.

Ward is survived by his son, Jubral Ward Holloway IV (Jake) of Eatonton. He is also survived by his parents, Jubral and Betty Holloway of Eatonton, sisters Marsha (David) Lutz of Eatonton, Sandra (Randy) Burton of Jonesboro, GA, nieces Summer (Graves) Blume of Greensboro, GA, Chelsea (Jimi) Wilson of Eatonton, Denver (Tobi) Kraft of Annandale, VA, Cassidy (Austin) Larson of Sandy Springs, GA, and several great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Services were held at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on Wednesday, August 9 at 6:00 pm with visitation beginning at 5:00 pm.
