Karen Inez Patch Owen was born on July 7, 1963 and left this realm on April 7, 2022 at the age of 58. She goes to her permanent resting place to reside with her parents, James and Evelyn Patch, and her sister Sandra McDaniel.
Former Putnam County Probate Court Judge, Karen worked hard and loved harder. Her joys in life were her family, horses, cats and dogs. She slept most peacefully with a horror movie playing, and she takes her pilot’s license to soar the heavens with her.
Left behind to carry on her legacy are her daughter Amanda Vail, granddaughters Teresa and Alexie, sister Linda Detter, her heart daughter Elizabeth Waelde, aunt Betty Ann Alexander, and cousins who were more than family Donnie Pinkard, Florence Creasy and their respective families.
