Mr. Kenneth Paul Watson, age 65, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, surrounded by family and friends.
Paul was a successful and knowledgeable man. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do or didn’t know how to do. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Janie Griffith Watson; their daughters, Sarah Watson, Sierra Watson, and Shelby (Nick) Durden.
He is also survived by his sister, Renee’ (Ronny) Shingler, and brother, Mike Watson.
Paul was born in Pelham, GA., on October 1, 1959, to the late Shirley and Ken Watson. He grew up in Macon and Thomaston, GA.
As a young boy, Paul wanted to be a welder by trade, but also traveled and worked as a mechanic on the railroad. After meeting his wife, they made their home in Eatonton, GA. Paul made the decision to go into business for himself so that he could be at home more for his children.
Paul dedicated his life to giving his daughters a better life than he had.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially when they got together at the river and took Harley trips with his wife.
The family celebrated Paul's life on May 31, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Embry Cabin (619 Greensboro Road, Eatonton, GA).
