Mr. Larry Gregory Manley, Sr., 91, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024. Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024, in the Great Hall of Eatonton Methodist Church.
\The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the service time. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Manley was born on September 21, 1932, to the late Emory Van Manley and the late Dorothy Roberta Gregory Manley. He worked as an engineer for the Georgia Department of Transportation and was very involved in his community.
Mr. Manley was a member of the JCs, The Elks Lodge, and VFW, a dedicated member of AA and SCV, Sons of Confederate Veterans, and American Legion Post 6, and was instrumental in the groundbreaking for Gatewood School.
He was a member of Concord United Methodist Church, where he served as superintendent of Sunday school. Later, he joined Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and Bible Fellowship Church.
