Linda Darnell Smith Payne

Mrs. Linda Darnell Smith Payne, 74, of Eatonton, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024. 

Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 14, 2024, in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Eatonton with burial to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. The family received friends from 10:00 AM until the service time.

Mrs. Payne was born on April 3, 1949, to the late Ed and Beatrice Smith. She was a homemaker who loved her family and especially taking care of her grandkids.

Mrs. Payne is survived by her husband Buddy Wayne Payne, 2 sons Nathan (and wife Beth) Parham, and Neal (and wife Tammy) Parham, 4 grandchildren Austin Parham, Ansley Parham, Landon Parham, and Andrew Parham, as well as great-grandchildren Ricky Maddox, Amilia Maddox, and Little Kyle Parham on the way.
